JSC "ZMK-Trans" under the control of GC "MAXIMUM"
In December 2017, LLC "Repetek", which owns 50% of the shares of the railway operator JSC "ZMK-Trans", bought the remaining 50% of the shares owned by a third-party shareholder. Thus, JSC "ZMK-Trans" completely came under the control of GC "MAXIMUM".
The company JSC "ZMK-Trans" is the owner of the types of wagons specialized for the GC "MAXIMUM": platforms for the transportation of timber and universal platforms. Therefore, the establishment of control over it became a logical step in the framework of the Group's strategy to increase the profile fleet.
It is worth noting that in conditions of a shortage of rolling stock, M&A transactions are a good opportunity for large railway operators to increase their market share.
